SRF Energy Recovery Linac Cavity
We developed, in collaboration with AES and JLab, a 5-cell accelerating cavity at 703.75 MHz, the first cavity ever designed and built for high-current Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) service.
The HOM modes of the cavity are fully damped, enabling it to handle ampere beams in ERL service such as eRHIC and electron coolers.
We are working on the next-generation high-current 704 MHz SRF cavity.
