RHIC Running: Many difficulties made for inconsistent running This included a PLC failure for the 10 o'clock cryo. A Yellow loss monitor that was probably real, and a Blue loss monitor that dropped 4 stores before the troublesome loss monitor was masked out of the interlock. At the same time, the Blue intensity was reduced to allow for a store to be completed. This finally got the beam back, without a fundamental understanding of the source of the problem. Blue intensity was brought back up in the next stores, so it was most likely a loss monitor problem that caused the dumps.
