RHIC Run-8 Startup Schedule (preliminary)

  1. Nsrl will run from Wed 5 Sept to Fri 26 Oct 2007.

  2. d-Au setup in Booster and AGS will begin Mon 22 Oct 2007.  From Mon 22 Oct to Fri 26 Oct, deuteron setup in Booster and AGS will take place in the evenings after NSRL has finished it's scheduled activities for the day.

  3. Au setup in Booster and AGS will begin Mon 29 Oct 2007.

  4. RHIC cooldown will start Thur 1 Nov 2007.

  5. Beam (d) is expected in Blue by Thur 8 Nov 2007.

  6. Beam (Au) is expected in Yellow by Mon 12 Nov 2007.

  7. d-Au collisions are expected by by Thur 22 Nov 2007.

  8. Machine development (\ramp-up") from Thur 22 Nov to Thur 29 Nov 2007.

  9. Two additional days may be needed for scrubbing.

  10. Physics is expected to be declared by Sat 1 Dec 2007.
